New Team Members, New Hometown Pride & New Challenges: Hello 2021!

I hope you all are well and staying healthy in this New Year. We know you’re as excited as we are to put 2020 behind us and start fresh.  As we enter 2021, I’d like to share some exciting updates:

Our Growing Team

Our team continues to grow to help serve our clients better. We’ll be sure to share updated and unmasked photos of our entire team when we can safely stop social distancing! In the meantime, please join us in welcoming:

  • – Chris Ewing, lead estimator
  • – Curt Bartz, production coordinator
  • – Nathan Dilas, property manager
  • – Lake Barksdale, carpenter helper
  • – Stratton Zervoudakis, carpenter helper

We’d also like to congratulate Mike Boyer, who worked with us for years as a subcontractor and is now heading up our internal paint department!

Tom, Jay, Carl, Julie, Paul, Jacob, Jeff, Brandon, and Shaun are still here and working hard — we’re grateful for their efforts and their continued good health!

Our Caring Community

On the 22nd and 23rd of January I witnessed our amazing community come together at the Petoskey High School to begin the vaccine roll out. The health department coordinated medical professionals, volunteers, the National Guard, local law enforcement, and the general public to vaccinate 800 people a day!

This event went very smoothly, without a hiccup — or as my brother would, say “zip-zip!” People were in, vaccinated, and out in 25 minutes!

I have yet to get my vaccine, but I am happy to report that my mother-in-law, Marilyn, recently received hers. She has remained healthy through the whole year and is looking forward to the extra level of protection that the vaccine will provide. I am looking forward to many more years of fresh cookies being baked in her kitchen!

Our Project Pipeline

Remember: it’s never too early to start planning for your next project! We are currently planning projects for summer and fall, so feel free to contact us to get your project rolling.

Considering a kitchen renovation? Plan ahead. We are running into a number of supply chain speed bumps getting appliances for new kitchen projects. In fact, it is not unusual for appliances to take 4 to 6 months from date of order to arrival. Our best advice is to order appliances as soon as design plans are completed — and, of course, to get started on those plans soon!

Enjoy every day and I hope your team wins the Super Bowl!!!
